Brian Anthony's EZ-Vegan Banana 🍌 Chocolate Chip Ice Cream 🍨

Ever wonder what to do with overly ripened bananas that are on their way out besides making that banana bread which now triggers everyone into reliving the traumatic shock of 2020 quarantine???


Make 🍌 ICE CREAM!!!



INGREDIENTS:


  1. 1/4 Cup of Non-Dairy Almond Coconut Creamer

  2. 1 bunch of 8 slightly overly ripened and bananas.

  3. 1 scoop of Sprouts Gluten-Free, Soy-Free, Plant Based, Vegan Protein Powder (optional)

  4. 1/2 Cup Mini Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips

  5. (OPTIONAL TOPPING) Flaked, sweetened coconut.

*Recipe makes about 4 cups or 32oz of ice-cream.


Below step is optional. Just a good way to UP your protein-game!


Tip: Mini Chocolate Chips (when frozen in ice cream) won't break your teeth. 😱🦷


INSTRUCTIONS:


  1. Peel ripened bananas and add to your blender.

  2. Add the nut-milk creamer of choice to the mixer. Make sure it's unsweetened. Vanilla flavored could work in this instance.

  3. Blend on highest setting or on "liquify".

  4. Pour mixture from the blender into a container that can hold all contents.

  5. Add in your mini chocolate chips to the mixture and seal your container well.

  6. Freeze over night and then serve.

  7. Note: when you pull the ice cream out of the freezer, to scoop easily put in microwave for 1.5 mins and let stand for about 2-3 mins before serving.


Incredible right?? And the entire thing cost $3 to make.
